I am a sucker for promos and coupons, seriously. Nothing makes me happier than a bargain. Granted I’m pretty lazy about clipping out coupons and actually exerting effort to get said bargains, but if it falls into my lap, whether it’s a free car or a nordictrack promotion code, I’d be on it.
What can I say, money doesn’t come easy. If you don’t have to do anything and you can get something in return, go for it! There’s no reason not to. Of course, you have to watch out for scams and stuff. Nothing motivates more than greed.

Got to love how I can book everything on the internet these days. So far, I’ve booked flights, hotel rooms, and movie tickets online. It’s all really convenient and hassle free. I hate having to deal with pesky, annoying ticket sellers. I know what I want, stop offering me so much useless information!
Of course, booking online probably isn’t ideal for a travel emergency, but for everything else? It’s the only way to go. I am a huge fan of efficiency, and it doesn’t get any more efficient than doing it at home, with a few clicks of your mouse. Get those credit cards ready!

Well, I’ve been balling. Once with my brother, another with a friend. I think I did pretty well both times. Legs got a little sore, but the foam roller has been great for that. I wonder where I can get one.
My brother’s going to some prom event, and we’ve been bugging him to get his acne treated. I don’t mean go for eczema treatment or anything, just.. get a facial or something at the dermatologist’s. He’s got the suit ready, now it’s time to get his face ready.
I got a little off track my diet, but that’s because a good bodybuilder friend of mine is creating a personalized nutrition plan for me. I figure I’ll take a look at it first. In the meantime, I’m just keeping a mindful eye on what I’m eating, so as not to get too fat.

I was pretty lucky to have been born with above average skin. It’s not great, but it’s not bad either. Some of my cousins always tell me to keep taking care of it, because acne and pimples are a real pain to have to deal with. They tell me about all these facial and skin care products and it’s all Greek to me. I have no idea what they’re talking about.
I HAVE heard about Proactiv though. It’s supposed to work great, but I have never tried it. They’ve got a catchy tag line though, “the proactiv solution“. I think that’s pretty clever. Great marketing. Let’s see if the product can back it up.

Sometimes, I wonder if I was born lucky with the genes I got from my parents. My mom gave me really good skin, so that’s always good. Her family is also extremely short, so I’m just 5′8″. That’s not so good. My dad’s family was always the strong type, and that worked out really well for me. However, they have a history of balding, so.. well, I’m not really that worried about being bald. One, the barber has already said I’d never go bald, and two, I look good bald anyway.
It’s weird how people really obsess about hair loss. There are countless natural cures for hair loss being marketed. Somebody’s GOT to be buying those things, right?
Anyway, I think I got pretty decent genes. They might be a lot better if I were born with more fast-twitch muscle fibers, but I’m not complaining.

Most people who want to lose weight usually try some sort of fat burner or the other. That isn’t the only option available though. There are also natural appetite suppressants in the market that well, basically suppress your appetite. Less food you eat, the less calories you take in, right?
There’s also another way to lose weight besides the appetite suppresants and the fat burners. It’s called exercise and a healthy diet. I hear those two work wonders.
Anyway, I played basketball yesterday, and tomorrow is chest day. I’m pretty excited for chest day. I used to hate working them, but now I’m really seeing the gains and it’s pretty inspiring.

Lately, I have been tempted to go out and buy diet pills online. It just seems like all I need to do to get washboard abs is to pop a pill every couple of hours. I’ve got to tell you, the marketing campaign for these ads hit home hard.
Fortunately, I’ve seen too many bodybuilding documentaries to know that it’s all about hard work more than anything. Concentrating on your workouts and your diet, that’s the only way to see improvement.
One documentary I strongly recommend is “I Want To Look Like That Guy.” It’s poorly done and it gets pretty boring, but it gives you a realistic idea on what it takes to look like that guy selling the diet pills. You’ll be surprised at how much it really takes.

The goal for this year is to get paid for my looks. Now I’m no Sean Connery. I’m no Pierce Brosnan. But I’m determined to get paid this year! One way or the other (save for pimping myself out).
So bring on the workout sessions, the diets, and the best anti aging product out there. I’m going for the gusto! Seriously thinking about joining the Century Tuna contest if I can get my diet together in time. I’ve got around ten pounds to lose and barely two months to do it, so that’s going to be really close.
Actually, in theory it’s very doable, but hey. You cannot put a price tag on Chicken Joy. Or actually, you can. 400 calories, 30grams of protein, more or less.

My ankle still isn’t 100%, but I’ve been watching Kobe Bryant videos and I really needed to get up some jumpers. Shot hoops with a friend today.. 7 games of one on one. He never really had a chance. At one point, he started cheating on the score, but.. let’s face it, he’s going to have to cheat more.
I was able to identify some weak points in my game (although I’m not sure if that’s due to the ankle), and I’m working on correcting them. Been able to incorporate Kobe’s reverse lay-up with the off hand, but I can’t seem to get Pierce’s drop-step working for me. I always end up in a position where I have to bail myself out with a jumper. Lateral movement is a problem as well.
Didn’t finish at the rim as well as I would have liked, but I WAS able to get it as often as I wanted. I was able to pull out a few crossovers and create some space, just couldn’t transition them into Kobe jumpers. Ended up playing a lot like

Injured ankle notwithstanding, I’ve got to get balling! I may not be able to change directions, but I can still put up some baskets. Gotta get the flow going again. I was watching Michael Jordan’s game against Utah, and he just killed the defense with those jumpers in the post. I’ll start with the jumpers, and work on the turnaround after my ankle heals.
I’ve got to switch up the diet plan a bit. The protein-focused diet worked really well, but I think I’ve got to get some healthy fats in my system, too. Avocados are too hard to come by, so maybe I’ll just stick to almonds? They’re a little pricey though.
Then again, food is still a family expense!
