I mean I always forgave him for all the swarthiness and hip-shaking because he was Latino, but you just KNEW, right?  We all did.  But you know what, good for him.  He’s rich, he’s popular, and now he can be openly gay.  Like he said, he’s a very lucky homosexual man.  Whatever floats your boat, Ricky.  We support you!

Remember when Barbara Walters was grilling Ricky Martin about whether or not he was gay a few years back?  Don’t you just feel like such a biatch now, Barbara?  Practically ruined Ricky’s career.

In other news, we have jackfruit at home, so the whole house smells of jackfruit.  Not a good time to be entertaining guests.  Not by any means.

I overheard this conversation at Plant recently:

Old Man parks in No Parking zone.

Aide: Boss, can we park here?

Old Man:  They’re not going to make me leave.  I’m driving a Porsche.

The sad truth is, he’s right.  People really give weight to stuff like that.  They’re probably worried he’s some politician or something, or maybe one of the mall’s owners.

On a slightly related topic, I should check out carinsurancelist.com for insurance for my Vios.  If that thing gets any more damage, it’s going to be pretty expensive without the insurance.

My dad is obsessed with weird shoes.  If you guys are young enough to remember, the Beatles wore these really crazy boots back in the day.  He wants a pair like that.  Actually, he DOES have a pair like that.  The only thing that’s keeping him from wearing them is my mom.

Personally, I don’t think it looks good at all, but hey, whatever works for him.  It’s not like I’m dressed like I stepped out off the covers of GQ, so why should he have to?

You haven’t?  That’s OK.  Neither have I.  I mean, only 25% of those who take it pass, on the average.  And it’s stressful like you wouldn’t believe.  People end up taking whole life insurance plans preparing for the bar.  That’s why you’ve got to give it to those 1,400 people or so who pass.  LIKE MY GF!

YEAH!  WHO’S THE KING?! SHE’S THE KING!

Of course this blog is anonymous, but I’m so proud I’m going to give you all a chance to find out who she is.  Just click here.

She’s in there somewhere!

Life has been pretty good these past few months.  The GF, work, GF, more work, basketball, the gym.  Not so much gym and basketball, but I’ve got the important parts covered.

Reading my blog, you probably think that I yo-yo from obese to fitness model weight, but nothing could be further from the truth.  I usually fluctuate around 5lbs every week or so, depending on how much I eat and how much I lift.  That’s not so bad, right?

I smell.. pineapple from the other office.  That’s weird.

There’s a wedding I have to get to in a few hours and may I just say that I’m not happy about it.  No work, no date, wala nang natira!

Why am I so obsessed with basketball?  Because I see things happening on the court.  I see how the defense is moving and how I can just go through it for the basket.  I see how the offense moves and I know exactly what they want to do.  I’m the king!

I am so hungry.  :|

While there’s money to be made in truck accessories, I really want to try building something big, yet totally unrelated to the family.  I don’t know what it is yet, and I don’t know when I’ll figure it out, but I’ll get there.  I know my main thing in life was always about having a family, but in a really selfish, arrogant way, I want to be great.

I want to do something and be able to tell myself, “I did that.  I’m the King!”  I’m not there yet; in fact, I’m a long way from that.  I need ideas.. or well, actually, I need willpower and discipline and to get my lazy butt moving.

I’ve never liked the restaurant Cyma, ever.  I’ve eaten there twice, and the food was terrible both times.  Yesterday though, it was awesome.  It’s now on my list of staple restaurants to go to when in a pinch!  Maybe it was the GF’s company, but it was GOOD.

My suggestion would be the pork souvlaki.  The pita bread is supposedly very high in calories, but it’s worth it.  The meat itself is grilled, which is always a good thing.  It could’ve been better, but hey, it wasn’t bad at all.  If you’re really watching calories though, I suggest you stay away from Greek food.  They drown their stuff in olive oil.  Great for the heart, loaded with calories.

You want EFAs and DHAs?  Take a fish oil capsule.

If you ask me what the best weight loss supplement would be, I have a simple answer for you:  Bottled Willpower.  Seriously, that’s all you’ll ever need.

I see all these people throwing away their money on fat burners and grills and whatnot, when all it really takes is a little common sense and the willpower to follow through with it.  Granted, I don’t have the body of an underwear model (yet), but I’ve got some experience with weight loss and what it takes.  You won’t find it in a serum or a pill.  It’s just moderate eating, with an active healthy lifestyle.  Hell of a lot more sustainable, too.

Ever since I’ve started “dieting” (I place quotation marks around it because it’s too good to be a diet, really), I’ve experienced a lot of good things other than the weight loss.  For one thing, I’ve got a lot more energy.  It seems weird because in theory, less calories would mean less energy, but I’m just bouncing off the walls.  I’m sure it’s something to do with glucose timing or whatever.

Another benefit is that my skin has been pretty clear ever since I tried laying off the oily stuff.  No phisoderm or any other acne treatments for me, man.  So basically, I feel good, and I look good.  BEST DIET EVER.

I’ve been seeing a lot about alli weight loss pills on the net these days and it makes me wonder if that stuff really works.  I’ve lost a lot of weight over the years but I did it the FUN way, eating healthy and getting some exercise in.  However, I won’t discount the fact that if these diet pills DO work, they’d be a huge boon to weight loss.

Lately, I’ve been focusing more on replacing my carbohydrate sources.  For example, instead of eating white rice, I have taken to eating fruits instead.  My refrigerator is now stocked full with apples and oranges.  The way I figure it, same carbohydrates, more fiber.  Works for me.
