Sometimes I look around and I see all these awesome gadgets and I wonder why I never thought to make something like that.  I mean, take the Symbol LS2208 barcode scanner for example.  I would have never thought to make something that scans barcodes.  Hell, I would have never thought to think about making barcodes!  It’s just genius!

In fact, I can honestly say I get frustrated because of my lack of inventiveness when it comes to gadgets.  Sure, I used to babble on and on about magnetic lubrication (which incidentally, Tokyo uses for their subways) but that was about it.

Man, if I had gone to MIT, maybe things would be different!

When I have my own house, there are only two things I really want in there: A gym and a basketball court.  Of course, I don’t have to mention the basics (but let’s face it, I’m going to) like beds, washrooms, and contemporary furniture.  But I’ve got to have the gym and the court.

After a hard day’s work, I’d like the option to be able to lift some weights or shoot some hoops before turning in.  Nothing beats the simple pleasures in life.

Sometimes, I want to get into the business of collecting toys.  I’ve got a friend who made almost a thousand dollars on a single toy, and I’m just talking about his profit.  It seems like a really lucrative business if you have the eye for it, and the patience.

I don’t think I have either though, and that’s what’s really stopping me from going into the business of collecting collectibles and toys and whatnots.  Too bad though.  I could really make a lot of cash if I just got my head into it.
