Lately, I have been tempted to go out and buy diet pills online. It just seems like all I need to do to get washboard abs is to pop a pill every couple of hours. I’ve got to tell you, the marketing campaign for these ads hit home hard.
Fortunately, I’ve seen too many bodybuilding documentaries to know that it’s all about hard work more than anything. Concentrating on your workouts and your diet, that’s the only way to see improvement.
One documentary I strongly recommend is “I Want To Look Like That Guy.” It’s poorly done and it gets pretty boring, but it gives you a realistic idea on what it takes to look like that guy selling the diet pills. You’ll be surprised at how much it really takes.

The goal for this year is to get paid for my looks. Now I’m no Sean Connery. I’m no Pierce Brosnan. But I’m determined to get paid this year! One way or the other (save for pimping myself out).
So bring on the workout sessions, the diets, and the best anti aging product out there. I’m going for the gusto! Seriously thinking about joining the Century Tuna contest if I can get my diet together in time. I’ve got around ten pounds to lose and barely two months to do it, so that’s going to be really close.
Actually, in theory it’s very doable, but hey. You cannot put a price tag on Chicken Joy. Or actually, you can. 400 calories, 30grams of protein, more or less.

My ankle still isn’t 100%, but I’ve been watching Kobe Bryant videos and I really needed to get up some jumpers. Shot hoops with a friend today.. 7 games of one on one. He never really had a chance. At one point, he started cheating on the score, but.. let’s face it, he’s going to have to cheat more.
I was able to identify some weak points in my game (although I’m not sure if that’s due to the ankle), and I’m working on correcting them. Been able to incorporate Kobe’s reverse lay-up with the off hand, but I can’t seem to get Pierce’s drop-step working for me. I always end up in a position where I have to bail myself out with a jumper. Lateral movement is a problem as well.
Didn’t finish at the rim as well as I would have liked, but I WAS able to get it as often as I wanted. I was able to pull out a few crossovers and create some space, just couldn’t transition them into Kobe jumpers. Ended up playing a lot like

Injured ankle notwithstanding, I’ve got to get balling! I may not be able to change directions, but I can still put up some baskets. Gotta get the flow going again. I was watching Michael Jordan’s game against Utah, and he just killed the defense with those jumpers in the post. I’ll start with the jumpers, and work on the turnaround after my ankle heals.
I’ve got to switch up the diet plan a bit. The protein-focused diet worked really well, but I think I’ve got to get some healthy fats in my system, too. Avocados are too hard to come by, so maybe I’ll just stick to almonds? They’re a little pricey though.
Then again, food is still a family expense!

So I just found out that one of my friends competes in bodybuilding. For all of you who ask whether or not I’m serious about getting fit, the answer is.. NO. THAT FRIEND is serious. I’m just messing around.
I’ve done the math and I’ve realized getting too big and too lean isn’t sustainable. Therefore, I’m just going to keep lifting the weights I lift, and try to maintain this size. I’m pretty happy with where I am right now. A little more fat loss and a little more muscle gain would be great, but if I stay pat I’m not gonna cry about it.
Most my “serious” friends tell me to just measure my food before meals. That doesn’t sound like too much fun. How do I measure chicken joy? How do you measure the joy!?

Apparently, I need to be consuming upwards of 150g of protein daily. Unfortunately, my daily intake runs at about 100g. That’s two extra whey shakes I need to take in.
Some good news though, I’ve figured out a way around my triceps-chest imbalance. Just need to pre-exhaust the pectorals with dumbbell flyes before I start pressing. I haven’t decided yet whether I’m going to be lifting tonight or tomorrow. I guess it all depends on how much I eat for dinner.
If I feel good about what I eat, I’ll take the night off. Maybe put on some bell tv and see if there’s a game on.

Sounds like a barok iPod. I think Steve’s pushing the envelope a bit on this one. Still, Apple stock rose right after he announced it, so he must know what he’s doing on some level. Been scouring the forums and it seems that people are actually interested in buying the thing.
I’m not one of those people.
I can’t even buy a new Mac because I don’t like how they redesigned the track pad. It’s a good thing these Macs last a long time, because I think I’m sticking with this one for a long time.

I need to figure out some things with the business. Suffice it to say that the economy is being difficult and couldn’t leave me well enough alone! I need ideas! I want my head to light up like it’s being flooded by Dolan lighting!
I do have a few things up my sleeve, but I’m pretty dubious about the whole thing. The operation just seems a little too good to be true. Will have to do more work to cover all my bases. Of course, it’s nothing big, but hey, money’s money.

5 Step Program
- Calculate how many grams of protein you need. Go to bodybuilding.com for the calculators.
- Calculate your daily calorie requirements. Eat less than that amount.
- Figure out how many calories grams of protein are there in your staple foods. Read the labels, use sparkpeople.
- Consume the amount of protein you need, avoid all other stuff. Vegetables are okay.
- Be Ripped!
- If this doesn’t work, I will post GF’s diyeta tips!!! SUREBALL!!!

The New Orleans Saints are going to face the Indianapolis Colts in two weeks after beating Brett Favre and the Minnesota Vikings in OT, 28-31! Up next, Peyton Manning! Yeah!
Actually, I was rooting for the Vikings being that I’m an Adrian Peterson fan, but hey. Top two seeds meeting in the Super Bowl. Can’t complain with a match up like that.
Makes me wish I actually knew how to play football. I played a little back in grade school but that was more of just tackling people left and right with no purpose.
