I’ve always figured that lights in the home will make a huge difference as to the mood of a place. Personally, I like how hotel lights look like. They’re warm and orange and just really classy. The thing is, I don’t think you can get anything done under lights like that.
My office has nothing but fluorescent lights. They’re cost-efficient and they serve their purpose. They don’t look as pretty, but whatever works, right?
I like pretty lights, though, as my GF can probably attest to. I’m easy like that. Progress lighting or General Electronic, it’s all good. I play no favorites.

For the first time in a long time, I’m having a problem dropping body fat. OK, to be fair, I haven’t exactly been staying on a well balanced diet, but still. That’s part of the problem. Whenever I have a big meal, I just end up rolling to the next big one. I’ve got to set the brakes down. Maybe it’s because I don’t have enough chicken breasts at home. Got to marinade some of those suckers tonight.
Still passing up the nuphedragen though, so I can’t be that desperate. The weird thing is, the pants still fit great. My jawline is still visible. But all the subcutaneous fat surrounding the muscles makes me look soft.

Been working out pretty consistently lately. This heat has made it pretty hard though, since it causes me to sweat buckets. I can’t help but feel all that sweat is conducive to fat loss, even though I know for a fact the benefits are marginal.
I’ve been seeing pretty good muscle gains, although the fat gain IS a problem. I love food and it’s a pretty tall order to have to go back to eating clean again. RIght now I’m just going with eating just enough. No steroids or anything, by the way, I’m all clean. I don’t want to have to take enzyte in the future, if you know what I’m saying.

This sweltering heat makes me want to have a swimming pool in my backyard. While digging up the grounds to install a real pool makes the whole thing grossly expensive, it shouldn’t be too much trouble to buy one of those large, inflatable pools. I mean, I don’t need to SWIM in it. I just want to WALLOW in it. My GF and I saw a few at the best mall in the world recently. I SO regret not getting one then.
Think about it. You don’t need pool pumps, a filtration system, chlorine, whatever. All that’s needed is an air pump to inflate the sucker and some water.

Yes, I AM a fashion designer. I design graphic tees that rival the Affliction and Ed Hardy brands. Well, not really. But I’ve got big plans for some of my drawings. I can see it now. My stuff all over billboards, mugs, personalized footballs, everything!
Of course, I’m not really thinking about making serious money with this, it’s just one of those things I do for vanity’s sake. I think it’d be pretty awesome to see people going around wearing stuff you made. Of course, I’ve got to get started first. First order of business is getting some stuff printed up.

I CALLED IT. I kept telling everybody yesterday how Lebron James was going to bring it to the Celtics, and he’s making me look like a prophet here.
Cavaliers lead the Celtics by 25 big ones, IN BOSTON. Who cares about home court? The Cavs are a great road team, and Lebron James is still feeling the sting of last year’s elimination. He’s not going to let the Celtics go up 2-1 on him. He’s not going to let the Celtics get a lead in this series, no matter what. He practically guaranteed it.
I may be biased in my analyses for the Mavericks, but there’s no bias here. Cavaliers win this one easy.

This workout plan of mine is different in the sense that it’s actually sustainable. I have a pair of dumbbells and an adjustable bench at home, and an old beat up basketball. That’s all the equipment I will ever need. I don’t need fancy, shiny gym stuff. I don’t need an hgh spray, or a those pilates plates. Everything I need is already set at home.
I’m focusing more on muscular endurance this time. Sure, strength is great for basketball, but I figure it isn’t sustainable. I’m not going to be dumbbell pressing 140 pounds when I’m 60. I CAN press 80 pounds for reps when I’m 70, though.
It’s actually been pretty effective for basketball. My muscles take much longer to get fatigued, I’m lighter, leaner, and I’ve been scoring at will. Of course, the fact that I’m THE KING might have something to do with that.

You’ll all be happy to know that I’ve lost weight WHILE maintaining a strength training program and eating enough protein to prevent going into catabolism. I think it’s safe to assume that the weight loss is mostly fat. I’ve got to tell you, the secret is just eating normally while lifting, 4 times a week.
Don’t fall for diet pills or whatnot. You don’t want to end up being the victim of another apidexin scam. Just eat in moderation, focus on protein, and workout. I can’t stress the importance of working out. You’ll feel better, you’ll stand better, and you’ll look better.
Make a small investment. I paid 8k for my home gym set. I cancelled my gym membership, and I use my set around 4 times a week, and I see more results than I ever did at the gym. Money well spent. You can’t go wrong investing in your health.

OK, I seriously think that the Dallas Mavericks are taking this one from the Spurs. It’s been an exciting playoffs series between these two Texas teams, and I really don’t see it ending tomorrow.
The way I figure it, George Hill got hot. Manu Ginobili got hot. They had once in a lifetime games. I don’t expect them to be replicating those performances anytime soon. Dirk Nowitzki on the other hand can kill it every night, so a 30 point outing from him tomorrow wouldn’t surprise me at all. At the same time, Caron Butler is a big time scorer. He can light it up any given night. He’s just got to let the game come to him.
The thing that scares me most is Tim Duncan. That guy is the most boring player in the league, but also one of the most consisten. I never thought I’d see the day I’d be worried about a slow, unathletic center. Unbelievable.

I’m pretty psyched about tomorrow night’s basketball game. Actually, I’m pretty psyched about our team. We’re not the best players (although sometimes I think I am), but I really believe that this team together can be great. I know we’ll never be the Lakers with their Lakers girls, celebrity fans and custom koozies, but I’d like to at least have jerseys made to commemorate our awesome play on the pick-up level.
Ah well. The team only has 4 members, so maybe jerseys aren’t the best idea. Maybe if we had at least seven guys. Four guys don’t make a real team. Can make for a winning one, though!
