Sometimes, I spend so much time on the internet I feel like I’m working on getting an online degree. I’ve seriously got to get myself away from the PC.
Taking a sabbatical from basketball, though. I feel like I’ve got to strengthen my legs first; been feeling the impact on my knees lately. Probably need to do some more squats, maybe with a larger weight. Mix it up a bit.
Also plan to start running sprints. I need the explosiveness. Work on my flexibility, too. So there you go. Less internet, more exercise. Awesome.

UNBELIEVABLE. I can take losing to Ray Allen. I loved “He Got Game.” I’d quote lines from that movie. I can take that. I can take losing to Kendrick Perkins. He’s mean and surly. I respect that. But BIG BABY?! You’re kidding me.
Unfortunately, Lakers DID let Glen Davis beat them. 17 points. How do you let a roleplayer (an overweight roleplayer at that) burn you for 17 points? BY NOT BOXING OUT.
I wasn’t worried about Pau Gasol’s defense against KG. KG is skinny as a rail. But Big Baby is pretty hefty. That’s why you’ve got to keep low, get your body on him. The Lakers do that. As a result, we’ve got a tied series. I am pissed.

My brother is down with Chicken Pox, and he just looks bad. Like he could use the best acne treatment known to man. It’s just sad to look at.
I remember when I had chicken pox. I wasn’t vain enough yet to worry about NOT scratching my face back then. Thankfully, no scars for this mofo. I’m actually pretty happy to know that you can only get chicken pox once in your life. After that, it’s not the pox anymore. It’s shingles.
For some reason, chicken pox sounds a lot friendlier.

I recently cancelled my gym membership at Fitness First since it was just too expensive. The price of the membership never really bothered me before, but a lot of things got in the way of me working out there, and working out there got in the way of a lot of things. So I’m done with FF. That’s that.
I’ve got a couple of dumbbells at home I use to stay in shape. Nothing fancy, but you won’t see any refurbished fitness equipment, either. It’s actually working out pretty well, since I can lift most any time I want to. Of course, that’s not most of the time. But at least it’s there.

I’ve decided I will stop eating fast food. I’m doing this for a variety of reasons.
My first reason is that fast good is really unhealthy. All that processed meat and all that sugar can’t be good for you. That’s one. My second reason is that it’s fattening like hell. I can’t really stop at one burger. I’ve got to order more. I always end up bingeing. Thirdly, I find fast food expensive. Simple as that.
So in conclusion, this decision will help me be healthier, save me money, and get me ripped. Who needs natural slimming pills? Just got to stay away from the drive-thru places.

You know what the best feeling is in basketball? It’s losing, then coming back to totally decimate your opponent in the rematch. Remember what happened to the Lakers in 2008? They got blown out by around 40 points in the deciding game 6.
I haven’t forgotten that. You think Kobe Bryant has? I haven’t read anything about this, but I get the feeling that Black Mambas have long memories. Of course, the Lakers have to get past the Suns first. After that? The Boston Celtics and the LA Lakers will meet each other in the NBA Finals for the 12th time in league history.
Revenge is a dish best served cold.

I’ve been lifting semi-regularly and sort of watching what I eat, but I don’t think today’s McDonald’s binge is going to help further my plans to reduce belly fat. Sometimes the McDonald’s delivery charging system works against me. They charge a flat rate for all deliveries as opposed to 10% now, and well, it’s not always cheaper.
Think about it. You only benefit from the flat rate IF you order more than 400 bucks worth of food. Otherwise, they’re straight up fleecing you. First they rob you of your health, and now your money? When’s it gonna stop?!

I’ve always figured that lights in the home will make a huge difference as to the mood of a place. Personally, I like how hotel lights look like. They’re warm and orange and just really classy. The thing is, I don’t think you can get anything done under lights like that.
My office has nothing but fluorescent lights. They’re cost-efficient and they serve their purpose. They don’t look as pretty, but whatever works, right?
I like pretty lights, though, as my GF can probably attest to. I’m easy like that. Progress lighting or General Electronic, it’s all good. I play no favorites.

For the first time in a long time, I’m having a problem dropping body fat. OK, to be fair, I haven’t exactly been staying on a well balanced diet, but still. That’s part of the problem. Whenever I have a big meal, I just end up rolling to the next big one. I’ve got to set the brakes down. Maybe it’s because I don’t have enough chicken breasts at home. Got to marinade some of those suckers tonight.
Still passing up the nuphedragen though, so I can’t be that desperate. The weird thing is, the pants still fit great. My jawline is still visible. But all the subcutaneous fat surrounding the muscles makes me look soft.

Been working out pretty consistently lately. This heat has made it pretty hard though, since it causes me to sweat buckets. I can’t help but feel all that sweat is conducive to fat loss, even though I know for a fact the benefits are marginal.
I’ve been seeing pretty good muscle gains, although the fat gain IS a problem. I love food and it’s a pretty tall order to have to go back to eating clean again. RIght now I’m just going with eating just enough. No steroids or anything, by the way, I’m all clean. I don’t want to have to take enzyte in the future, if you know what I’m saying.
