I know Blog Spartan was supposed to be a fitness blog, but I haven’t really been very fit the past few months.  Sure, I’d talk about getting in shape and losing weight and making the cover of Men’s Health magazine, but it didn’t translate into real life.  Until a few weeks back.

Ever since I got my weights set, I’ve been training almost every day.  I’m doing 8-10 sets daily, and I feel great.  My thing is I always eat better when I lift.  I don’t overeat, no midnight snacks, a lot of protein.  I don’t know why that is, but it is.

The results?  I’m wearing a pair of shorts I’ve never fit into.  I overate ONE time, and I didn’t feel bloated at all.  I can finally wear my “raise the bar” tshirt again.  All my pants are looser.

Still a long way from six pack abs, but a lot closer than a month ago.
